Computer Studies

The Year 11 Digital Technology course builds upon the foundational knowledge and skills acquired in Year 10 Digital Technology. It aims to deepen students' understanding of digital information management, including ethical considerations in its usage, as well as key features of operating systems and application software. Through hands-on learning, students will acquire practical expertise in digital information, digital media, and computer programming, culminating in the creation of their own computer game and promotional materials.


Prerequisite: It is advisable to have achieved at least a satisfactory level in programming in Year 10 COM. Alternatively, the final decision lies with the Head of the Department.


Furthermore, successful completion of this course will contribute to the attainment of the National Certificate of Education Level 1.
