Art Design - Mixed Media

Prerequisite: Achievement in Year 10 Art or at the discretion of HOD.

Students will apply knowledge of a range of art conventions from established practice in the production of artwork. The internal Achievement Standard will focus on two fields from the following: Photography, Sculpture, Printmaking, Design. 2D and 3D work produced in the internal will inform the external portfolio.

Contributions and Equipment/Stationery

Materials, including printing costs $100-$150(approx.); Possible gallery/art trip $50 – 150 range. Students will need a camera and a laptop. Please refer to the school website for the computer specifications for this subject. There are a limited number of basic department cameras available for student use if they don't have their own. Students and parents are required to sign a contract if borrowing department camera and lighting equipment.
