Prior LearningIf you have consistently passed assessments in 10SCI you should choose this course. If you are have not passed Year 10 assessments, your readiness for 11SCI will be decided by your science teacher and the HOD.
11SCI: SCIENCE
11 Science is a foundational course where students develop an understanding of the fundamental concepts of Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics). Students conduct experiments to reinforce their understanding, and prepare for further study in specialist Science areas. If students are wishing to continue in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Earth and Space Science, they must take 11SCI or 11SCE.
