Subject Description

Design and Visual Communication
Prerequisite: 8 credits in Level 1 DVC or at the discretion of TIC/ HOD.
This course has five assessment standards that are completed in a variety of projects through the year. Skills to be developed are refined sketching and graphic techniques, model-making and presentation, with a technical drawing focus and some computer aided design and presentation. The course can be linked to general technology external standards through TIC/ HOD discretion. External portfolios are submitted about a week before seniors leave in Term 4.
