Chemistry
Level 3 Chemistry builds on each of the topics in Level 2 Chemistry. A thorough understanding of the concepts taught in Level 2 is required as much of this is assumed knowledge.
It is a recommended subject for those wishing to go on to study Science, Engineering, Veterinary Science, Health Sciences or Food Science.
Prior Learning
In 2023 we have not had time to do all three external assessment. Therefore the updated prerequisite is based on 2023.
Prerequisite: Merit in all both External Achievement Standards (2.4 and 2.5) AND competence in the 2.6 skills test.
Any exceptions are at the discretion of the TIC Chemistry

$75 (approx.) Stationery, compulsory textbooks & optional extra resources.
