Design and Visual Communication
Prerequisite: A successful Year 9 or year 10 DVC, or at the discretion of TIC/HOD
This course has six assessment standards that are completed in a variety of projects through the year to form a portfolio of work. Skills and techniques of sketching, rendering, graphical literacy and technical drawing will be the focus. Improving visual presentation, model making and presentation to an audience with some use of computer aided design are included in the program. External portfolios are submitted about a week before seniors leave in term 4, and will include a composite of all the projects.
