Agricultural and Horticultural Science
This course has a balance of practical and theoretical content, based on the Horticulture and Agricultural industries. Students will be required to keep a garden plot on the school grounds. The course could also be of interest to Economics, Geography and Biology students.
Prior Learning
Prerequisite: A pass in the 11AGH or 11SCI end-of-year examination. Shows interest in the Primary Industries.
Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
Consumable equipment fee $10; two field trips; $20 (approx.)

This pathway can lead to jobs in a wide range of sectors, such as: working with plants and animals, agricultural and horticultural industries, environmental science, research science and economics.
