History
Studying History provides a sound foundation for all career paths. Students taking this course will learn how to: develop clear, critical thinking; collect information; recognise differing points of view; and detect bias and propaganda. Students learn how individuals influence history and will be challenged to reflect on the successes and mistakes of the past in order to be better prepared for the future.
We study of at least three of the following historical topics:
- The World at War - Origins of World War Two
- I have a Dream! – Black Civil Rights Movement
- Blood, Guts and Gore - Medicine Through Time
- Batons and Barbed Wire- The 1981 Springbok Tour.
