Sports Science
Prerequisite: 12 credits in Level 2 Sport Science, must include 2.2 and (2.1 or 2.3) or approval of HOD or 12 credits in Level 2 English (Reading & Writing not Speaking); or 12 credits in Level 2 Science, Biology or Chemistry.

Prior Learning
It is helpful to have Sport Science experience from levels 1 and 2. It is also helpful to have sound knowledge of report writing.

Assessment Information
Students will be assessed at the end of each body of work. There will be a range of modes of assessment from written tasks to videos, oral presentations and in person demonstrations.It is important to note that if a student is looking to take Sports Science and Outdoor Education (two seperate classes) their credits come from the same learning domain so they only count as one subject together when looking at things like university entrance.
